Ron L. Zheng is a photographer and poet, as well as an award-winning graphic artist, with degrees in graphic arts, business and psychology. Born in Japan but living in the United States since high school, Mr. Zheng's diverse background allows him to merge traditional Japanese and modern American cultures, as well as integrating poetry and photography into a new art form called poetography. Mr. Zheng's poetography is available from the publishing firm literary road in e-book and print book. Even without the photographic images, Mr. Zheng's tanka poems remain strong and vivid, telling emotionally intense and personal stories of his life. His tanka poems have been published in gusts, a quarterly produced by Tanka Canada, and Modern English Tanka, a journal dedicated to publishing and promoting fine English tanka.
