ArtLA is the most advanced, contemporary art site for research and acquisition of highly established artists, as well as newly emerging artists. It serves dealers and art collectors with a professional and comprehensive database of artists, their bios, galleries and collections.

An artist will submit his or her portfolio for review. Once approved, the artist will be given a Log-in and Password for their personal Profile Page. The artwork should have an innovative approach in the contemporary art market.

Once you receive your Log-in and Password, you will be able to start uploading all of your information to your Profile Page immediately.

Click "Join" under the MEMBERSHIP tab. You will fill out a brief online application. An email will then be sent to you to validate your email account.

Yes. ArtLA will create a personal domain name that will be easy to for you and your clients to remember. For example, if your name is Paul Smith, ArtLA may give you the domain name www.artla.com/paul-smith.

After you Log-in to your account, click "Edit Gallery." Select "Choose images" and upload your files. You are able to upload several images at one time.

THE FILES MUST BE .JPG FORMAT, 72 DPI, AND MAXIMUM OF 600 PIXELS HIGH OR 700 PIXELS WIDE.

You are protected by US and international copyright laws. Furthermore, the images on the site are 72 dpi (dots per inch) resolution, which is a very low resolution for any type of print. We also every measure possible to make it nearly impossible to get any image of your work.

On your Profile Page, your email address, web site, and phone number can be displayed. So, a visitor will be able to contact you directly.

Once you become a member, your Log-In/User ID is permanent. However, your password may be changed at any time.

Visitors can find artists or their respected artwork by the following ways:

1) Search using an artist's first name, last name, or both. Upon entering the information, you will receive a list of artists that will meet your criteria. It is important to spell their name correctly, so please enter the least amount of information as possible. As you enter more characters, your list of artists will narrow.
2) Search by using the A-Z Directory found in the ARTIST menu. You will be able to search exclusively by first or last name.
3) Searches can be further defined by clicking "Artist by Type" in the ARTIST menu. Here you will find artists or artwork by Category (painting, photography, etc), Medium (oil, print, etc) and Style (landscape, abstract, etc).

The visitor may contact the artist directly or the artist's gallery representative.

Yes. ArtLA will give a free month for any member who refers a new member. We are excited to provide this service to our members and hope that they will share the experience with others.
